How it works

From “someday” to day one.

  1. Pick a goal and your pace

    Write it in one sentence, like “Read and write basic Japanese”. Then choose how many weeks it runs and how many days a week you can show up.

  2. Get a plan, week by week

    Each day gets a few small tasks. Let AI draft the plan, start from a ready-made one or write your own, then change anything you like.

    • The character at level 1, with no items
    • The character at level 3, with glasses, wraps, a watch and a cape
    • The character at level 5, with goggles, headphones, gloves, a watch and a royal cape

    Check off tasks and level up

    Tasks from AI and ready-made plans earn XP and skill progress. Your level rises, and your character unlocks new gear as your skills grow. Tasks you write yourself are tracked too, without XP.

    A class for your kind of quest

    LevelUp suggests a character class from what you want to work on, and you can switch any time. Your skill sheet shows which of five skills your quests build, from Novice to Expert.

  • Your quest on your home screen

    Check off today's tasks from the Next Quest widget without opening the app, and keep an eye on your streak with the Streak widget, on iPhone and Android. One task a day keeps your streak going, and if you allow notifications, LevelUp reminds you before it breaks.

  • A check-in every week

    When a week ends, tell LevelUp how it felt: too hard, just right or too easy. Your answer is saved, and with LevelUp Pro, an AI plan's next week is replanned to match.

  • Quests from the community

    Browse quests other people share in Explore. Like them, comment and add a copy to your own list, or share yours when you're ready. Shared quests and comments are public in the app, checked automatically and open to reports.

Your first AI plan, made during onboarding, is free; LevelUp Pro adds AI plans for new quests and replans your next week from your weekly review, with monthly fair-use limits.

LevelUp Pro is a weekly or yearly subscription, billed through the App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically until you cancel, and the store shows the price before you buy. Terms › LevelUp Pro

Privacy and safety

No sign-up. No ads.

  • No email or password

    LevelUp gives you an account with a random ID. Its key stays on your phone, so losing or resetting the phone, or reinstalling the app, can lose the account.

    Switching phones

  • No ads, no cross-app tracking

    LevelUp shows no ads and doesn't track you across other companies' apps or websites. Usage analytics are on by default, and you can turn them off in Settings.

    Privacy Policy

  • You decide about AI

    Nothing about your quest is sent for an AI plan until you tap “Allow”, and you can turn AI plans off in Settings. AI can make mistakes, so check a plan before you rely on it. Plans are for habits and learning, not medical advice.

    AI plans and your data

  • Report, block, delete

    Report or block from the “…” menu on a quest or comment. Delete your account in the app at any time, or ask for deletion without the app.
